Optical Substrates & Laminations

產品說明

Dontech's optical filters are produced with one or more layers of substrates to create the desired optical and physical properties. Several different substrates can be used together to achieve an optimum configuration and altered properties. Substrates are bonded with a range of lamination systems selected for application suitability. Dontech's optical substrates are available as follows:
>>Laminated or monolithic
>>Clear or colored
>>Formed or flat
>>With or without thick film coatings (e.g., hard coatings and antiglare hard coatings)
>>With or without thin film coatings (e.g., antireflective, conductive, dichroic coatings)
>>With or without EMI/RFI shielding (e.g., transparent conductive coatings or optical conductive grids)

Glass, plastics and crystalline materials are the two most common substrate families used in the fabrication of optical filters. There are many types or grades of material within each family.

Plastic Substrates:
>>Polycarbonate
>>Acrylic
>>Allyl diglycol carbonate (ADC)
>>Cellulose triacetate (TAC)
>>Polarizers (linear & circular)
>>Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)

Specialty materials
Plastics can be extruded, cast, lapped and polished, laminated, thermally formed or injection molded. Plastics are often used as optical substrates because they are easier to machine and laminate, lighter in weight and more impact resistant than standard glass.

Glass Substrates:
>>Soda lime
>>Borosilicate
>>Alkaline earth boro aluminosilicate
>>Specialty materials

Crystalline Substrates:
>>Zinc Sulfide (ZnS)
>>Sapphire
